Cibò Opens in Rome: Grand Opening on October 15 on Via Giulia
A new city, a new address, and a story that continues. On October 15, 2026, Cibò arrives in Rome at Giulia Urban Retreat, between Via Giulia and Lungotevere dei Tebaldi. This opening marks an important step in our journey, one we want to share from day one with everyone who enjoys coming together around good food.
After Cefalù and Porto Cervo, Rome welcomes the next chapter of Cibò. Three different destinations, each with its own atmosphere: the sea and traditions of Sicily, the energy of the Costa Smeralda, and now the charm of a city where history and everyday life meet at every turn.
A New Location on Via Giulia
Our new restaurant is located at Giulia Urban Retreat, on one of the most evocative streets in Rome’s historic centre. With its palaces, perspectives and architectural details, Via Giulia reveals a side of the city that invites you to slow down and take it all in. It is a place with a distinctive character and a special setting for this new adventure.
Close to Campo de’ Fiori, Piazza Navona and Trastevere, the restaurant sits in one of central Rome’s liveliest and most visited areas, frequented daily by residents and visitors alike. With entrances at Via Giulia 248 and Lungotevere dei Tebaldi 4, Cibò offers a new address to discover, perhaps after a stroll through the capital’s streets and squares.
Our Cuisine in a City Full of Flavour
At the heart of our approach is a simple belief: quality ingredients deserve care, respect and thoughtful preparation. This is where our cuisine begins, making room for familiar flavours and a balance between tradition and a contemporary outlook.
In Rome, this vision meets an unmistakable food culture, shaped by recipes, customs and the joy of sharing a meal. Rather than previewing a menu, we prefer to let the dishes introduce the new Cibò when you take your seat at the table.
During the opening evening, guests will be able to sample savoury pastry creations, flavours from Roman culinary tradition and dishes prepared by our chef. It is a tasting experience designed as a first introduction to our hospitality, without formality: a chance to meet, enjoy something delicious and celebrate together.
Everyone is welcome. You do not need to know Cibò already to be part of the occasion: opening night is the perfect moment to discover our new Roman address and get to know us.
